The CMJ programme is a marriage formation programme that integrates contemporary relationship psychology with Catholic theology, offering an effective and powerful experience for engaged couples and younger married couples. Whether you are preparing for marriage, or are a younger married couple, learn and be formed by the rich syllabus that CMJ offers with the accompaniment of a more experienced married couples to set you up well on your journey to live an authentic love relationship centered on Christ building a firm foundation for your life together.
For the journey, you will be matched with a Couple Mentor from the parish you belong to. Your journey with them will be over six sessions at their home so that you get to see marriage ‘live’.

MARRIED COUPLE

Each session will last between 90–120 minutes per session at a mutually agreeable schedule between you and your Couple Mentors. The lead time between sessions is 1–3 weeks, hence you can expect to complete the journey in 2–4 months. Between sessions, there will be extension activities you are expected to complete with your spouse at home, which will help you to put the tools into practice. CMJ runs on a flexible schedule as one can easily reschedule a session. The flexible format also allows one to decide how many courses to run a year; and how many couples per course (one-to-one is the ideal, but if you are more comfortable with a group of couples, go for it).

Your investment in the CMJ is $98.00. This pays for the workbooks you will need for the Journey. At the end of your journey through the six sessions, please consider giving a love offering to CMJ. Your offering of love helps CMJ fund outreach efforts as well as training/formation programmes for our team of couple mentor volunteers who generously give their time to this initative.
